Muslim Aid conducted training sessions on Safe Food Handling and Storage given to head teachers, assistant teachers, and office assistants of schools or madrasas from 16th to 21st May 2019 in 10 venues. Eighty-eight (88) educational institutions (77 Government Primary Schools, and 11 Ebtedayee madrasas) took part in those trainings. Field Monitors, Assistant Project Coordinator, and Project Coordinator of School Feeding Programme of Muslim Aid conducted the training sessions. WFP Officials, Assistant Upazilla Education Officers, and Upazilla Education Officer also joined the training sessions as guests. Facilitators conducted the trainings following participatory methodology to make participants aware of how food commodities be handled with care, stored in controlled and maintained standard physical environment.
